Heritage Decks only uses long length 2"x6" boards, up to 18 feet long with no seams on the deck surface
When obtaining estimates from other companies, specify 2"x6" deck surface and not the thin inferior 5/4" (5 quarter) material.
Composite materials do not compare to the warm feeling and natuarl scent of a Western Red Cedar deck

This Western Red Cedar deck was built in 1989. The picture was taken spring 2009
The deck has been maintained over the years with an easy to apply wipe on oil stain.
After 20 years the cedar aroma still remians.
